Dr Tirupati Panigrahi – A proud son of the soil
“My country! in thy day of glory past. A beauteous halo circled round thy brow and worshipped as a deity thou wast. Where is that glory, where that reverence now? Thy eagle pinion is chained down at last and grovelling in the lowly dust art thou.” - Henry Louis Vivian Derozio
Such was the situation of the State of Odisha back in 1950s where all the glory of the past magnificent history of Utkal/Kalinga/Odisha was astray and a post independence Odisha was struggling to make a come back. The braveheart freedom fighters and politicians of Odisha were in a dilemma as in how will they increase the economic status of this poor, downtrodden yet an unexplored treasure trove alike State, how will they generate employment, how will they empower the women and most importantly how will they educate the mass which back then had high illiteracy. Hence they all felt like their pinions (wings) were chained down with these societal adversities and were unable to fly high as anticipated. That’s when Shri Tirupati Panigrahi was born in the year of 1955 at Parlakhemundi Village of Gajapati District of Odisha in the land of Maharaja Krushna Chandra Gajapati who is one of the founding fathers of Indian Constitution and an architect of Independent Odisha. As a child he was very gentle yet intelligent in his choices of toys. Most often he played with pen, pencils and used to scrabble on paper. He had a keen interest in education and was a vivid learner from the day one itself. However due to financial burdens of his family he had to drop out of school quite early. Despite this, he never envied other kids of his age who were lucky to attend schoolings. Rather he tried his best to learn from any possible source of knowledge, be it from newspapers or discarded books etc. Being close to his mother he had once made a promise to her that he will not only be a savior to his younger siblings but will one day definitely change the whole scenario of education, employment and empowerment in the state of Odisha. That was the day he not only challenged himself and his mother but he challenged his own DESTINY. This reminds of the famous quote by Sir William Shakespeare – “It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves”.
Today Dr.Tirupati Panigrahi is the Founder and Chairman of Hi-Tech Group of Institutions which is at present Eastern India’s largest group of Institution comprising of 2 Medical Colleges, 3 Engineering Colleges, 1 Dental college and 34 other institutions. He is a philanthropist of high order. In his institutions students below poverty line avail free education. These institutions not only serve as a source of Education but also as employment opportunity to 1000s of youngsters and professionals. Many poor patients from various corners of India avail free treatment through the “Poor Patient Treatment Fund” thus instituted by Dr. Panigrahi without any external support. Various countries and organizations have awarded him for his exemplary social service and he also holds 3 honorary doctorates. It is said by his close aides that he has a sharp memory and he doesn’t forget even the smallest of gratification he receives and is a man of his words. He has not only risen from rags to riches but has also provided employment to nmany, empowered women by giving them job (both skilled and menial), gotten many poor, critically ill patients treated free, granted financial aides to many youngsters for startups. Such is the greatness of Dr. Tirupati Panigrahi who can be very rightfully said to be a “Proud Son of the Odisha Soil”.

Today this saying goes well with our visionary leader Dr Tirupati Panigrahi who moulded and won the hearts of about 38000 citizens of the people of Parlakhemundi. Throughout the battle he maintained the political ethics and integrity. The national and regional opposition parties put up a strong fight with many heavy weight politicians like Shri Amit Shah and Shri Naveen Patnaik making visible presence at Parlakhemundi during election campaigning. However yesterday is not ours to recover but tomorrow is ours to win or lose. Elections will come and go. Parties will keep losing or gaining but the democracy should prevail and people’s voice should be heard. At last but not the least, let’s congratulate all the winners of the assembly election and Loksabha election and let’s work together for the betterment of the state in general and parlakhemundi constituency in particular.

They are using own cells in the process so the problem of transplant rejection by the immune system is not there in this latest Technology. This project is a novel solution to condition of Osteoarthritis as it is not only repair and rehabilitation but a complete cure. Proud of such noble contributions by my institute to change the World!

Ministry of Health & Quality of Life, Government of Mauritius 🇲🇺 hosted an official meeting with Hi-Tech Medical College & Hospital, Bhubaneswar in Port Louis regarding opening of a new branch of Hi-Tech medical college in Mauritius. Mr. G. Gunesh, Chief Secretary (and also Chief Executive) & Dr. V Gajadhur, Director of Health Services represented Ministry of Health & Quality of life, Government of Mauritius & Dr. KK Singh represented the Hi-Tech Group. It was a very fruitful meeting. And as a follow up, Mauritius government requested Hi-Tech Medical College to train the government doctors of Mauritius for various Super Speciality and also they will soon start referring patient for various major surgeries in Hi-Tech Medical college & hospital under certain MoU. Mauritius will be the melting point of culture for all African Nations once after Hi-Tech proposals come into reality in action.

DR. Tirupati Panigrahi did a padayatra of 5 villages of the panchayat and finally held an open public meeting at headquarter of Dumbada grama panchayat.
Dr Tirupati Panigrahi visited inaccessible Dumbada Gram panchayat. He was welcomed by the local community with enthusiasm and was given a traditional ceremonial welcome with Adivasi Dance and music. There were gathering of 1000 Odd Adivasis to meet Dr Panigrahi. Dr. Panigrahi did a padayatra of 5 villages of the panchayat and finally held a open public meeting at headquarter of Dumbada grama panchayat. Local panchayat members requested Dr. Panigrahi to take up their cause of building a 10 km road to their area, build a high-school upto 10th standard, a hostel for 200 students and mobile connectivity. They imotionally appealed him that since independence their area is totally neglected and needs immediate government attention. If Government does not listen to them their patience may run out and they may resort to agitation. In the absence of good infrastructure and non availability of immediate medical service, many cases of Death during delivery have been reported. Due to bad road condition ambulance services are not available. Due to absence of irregation project farming is highly impacted and migration of local youth is a regular trend. Local youth are very enthusiastic to study but due to lack of education facility they are deprived of education and local children can not go out for studies as road is inexistant.Dr Panigrahi agreed to take up their cause and do the needful in what ever way it is feasible through his personal efforts and professional contacts.

Parala Swaviman Manch along with Navanirman Krushak Manch lead a 12000 strong farmer delegation to Gajapati Collector's office to place their demand, despite of opposition from local political leadership.

1) We are committed to collect by purchasing initially 2500 nos. of Calves from local weekly markets to shelter them in our Goshala to feed them properly with all our love and care. This will have a great impact on an undesirable prevailing practice. Now many people have been selling their cows and calves as they do not have shelters (Goushala) , no labour to mind the cows and also no Pasteur land for grazing. Being forced by this situation they sell them without knowing that after passing through 3-4 purchasing –hands their calves and cows are finally pushed to Slaughter House. Now they will have an option to sell their calves to us happily as it will assure them the well being of their cattle.
2) Apart from the calves, we will also adopt by purchasing neglected, sick, old cows and give them food, shelter & treatment so that they would breathe their last peacefully. Being the eternal-giver they deserve to get this care from us at this phase of their life.
3) As a step towards total commitment the organization has planned to adopt eight villages of the local area and start its operation with care and concern.
4) This initiative will generate 1000 direct employment and 5000 indirect employment. This will also encourage entrepreneurship; provide ownership, give scientific education and teach managerial quality and so on.
5) This project will also educate and promote organic farming in the locality and there by wage a war against hybridization and use of pesticide.

1.This Manch will take the voice of the farmers who are the backbone of the agricultural development in the daily dharbar & bhubaneswar dharbar , so that with the help of govt. we can use our own resources for the development of farming and agriculture.
2.This manch will provide Career opportunity for unemployeed youth, uneducated and provide different industries like agriculture processing , grading & packing centres , garment industries to make the women independent.
